Thanks for joining me on this journey of building community with other practitioners of the pervert arts. Here is installment #2 of the Crafty Perverts Social Club newsletter.

Our first meeting was a delight!

Nine Crafty Perverts showed up to our Social Club meeting last week. We ate some leftover corporate BBQ, discussed plans for a potential UNSCRUZ art project, made various impact toys out of Kyle’s scrap wood, colored some horny coloring book pages, and made jute cock rings. Thanks to all who came for making the event a success!

Recent work: A hidden steel wall mounting system for bondage furniture

Last week I built and installed this hidden wall mounting solution designed to hold large pieces of bondage furniture. The steel brackets were fabricated by my old work mom and the mouldings were were created by milling and assembling five sticks of poplar each. The request was to “make it disappear.” The brackets were designed such that there are two sets at different heights and angles, allowing the furniture to be hung flat on the wall when not in use. The above photo shows an adjustable caning rack I made last year, hung out at an angle in play mode. Below is a side view of the actual mounting system. Sorry for the shitty photos (but not that sorry). You can see a similar version of this system in use at the Kink Store in SF.

Lets make bullwhips together

I’ve been interested in whipmaking for awhile now and I’d love to gather a small crew of folks who want to set aside an afternoon to make some together. This video seems like a decent primer but I’m down to hear other suggestions for how to make them. If you’re interested in getting together to make some bullwhips, hit me up and we can start a side chat about when we should do it. I’m targeting a weekend afternoon some time in the next couple months. A few of us went the the Praxium Whip Jam at Stop Gap on Thursday and had such a good time whipping each other! I’d love to return with my own homemade implement.
